Here we have the dreaded/anticipated life drawing class! Showcased in all it’s glory through the thoughtful and personal autobio of Jey Pawlik! The perfect way to start your November.
If you’ve ever tried stepping foot into the world of creative art and study, you’ve probably experienced young Jey’s story firsthand. It’s a deeply freeing and explorative moment for a lot of artists. A place where you (gradually) learn to leave preconceptions at the door and are actively invited to study the human body for your own betterment. It can be a really important moment of reflection and growth – and heck – I’m deeply thankful Jey felt like they could share theirs with us! Thank you, bud – you’re amazing and this comic rules.

Stay tuned to Erika’s socials this week (Twitter and Instagram!), as she gets ready to announce her new monthly Patreon (don’t worry we’ll be keeping the OJST one). After one whole year of stepping away from OJST, this new Patreon will be a space JUST for her and all her many projects (comics: heck yes)! It’s a really big moment for us!
And if it’s not too cheeky, it would mean the world to Erika and me if you consider supporting it when it drops (and heck, continue to support us with a buck or two on OJST too ;D )!
We truly couldn’t do OJST and explore her mental health book without you all.
Hope you all had a lovely Halloween and stay warm for the upcoming winter.
