It’s pretty easy to find before/after transition photos online, but people usually keep their pants on for them. As a person considering medically transitioning, it can be difficult to know what to expect downstairs, which is a place we don’t often want surprises. Let DCS demystify that for you!

DarkChibiShadow looks up from their hunched drawing position with a surprised smile. They have a bushel of spikey hair, thick eyebrows, rectangular glasses, and wear a dark t-shirt. "Yeah, just finishing up actually..."
The tablet's screen is filled with an illustration of a naked person sitting with their legs spread, cropped to their belly, thighs, and pubic area, which features a protruding fold of puffy flesh that would fit in a cupped hand. The figure has a smattering of hair over their thighs, pubic mound, and swoop of it running up the underside of their tummy.
"Y'know, I was wondering:" TGP asks, pointing at the illustration. "why is his clit so big?"
"Oh," DarkChibiShadow replies, now turning full toward their companion. "that's cuz he's taking testosterone."
Another illustration now shows two fingers of the same hand pressed on either side of a fleshy, puffy, testosterone-supplemented vulva that is accentuated with sparkling stars. The genitalia puffs out away from the body, about the size and shape of a cupped hand. Between the labia majora (the outer lips) rises up the clitoral hood, clitoris, and labia minora (inner, smaller lips). With their chin in their hands and still looking flustered, TGP continues, "I guess I knew less about this than I thought..."
"Everyone starts somewhere." DarkChibiShadow says with a scholarly air as they grasp the pull-string on a rolled-up projector screen over their head. "Since you're here, let's keep learning!"
The projector screen unfurls to reveal diagrams of different vulvas with accompanying little hearts floating around them.

Different parts are accentuated or shrunk on each set of genitals. Some more closely resemble standard penis and scrotum-shapes in a small size, while others resemble puffed-up standard vulva shapes, with some other examples of genital shapes and sizes falling in between the two extremes.

But, I owed it to myself to at least try, and wow, I'm happy I did! The changes testosterone has brought to my body have been amazing."
Now looking defeated, they sigh, "There are still things I wish were different about my body..." In the background we can see into their thoughts as they imagine the lower half of a naked person presenting a large t-dick that hangs past their pubic area. "But that's a feeling many people share, I'm sure."
Now crossing their arms into an X, they assert, "And remember, having gender dysphoria about your genitals like I do is not a universal experience for all trans people!"
